About Me

Unlike most who know what they want to do at a young age, Photography didn't begin that way for me. I grew up not knowing what to do. I wasn't pushed towards sports or activities to see what I'd like. Then it came!

My first shots were taken with a Cannon Power Shot.  During my senior year of High School, where I took an entry level Photojournalism and learned of my eye for photography. I continued to take classes like Advanced Photojournalism, to strengthen my skills and learned how to use a Digital SLR for the first time.

As I continued to grow in the photography world, I've dealt with issues surrounding body image and confidence in self, but I wasn't alone. Like many others, I struggled to see the beauty in myself, yet I could easily name FIVE things about you that were amazing. It was through the lens that I was able to help see others the beauty in themselves.

After becoming a Texas Woman's University Alumna, I continued my work as a free lance photographer, accepting clients professionally. Through hiring me, many others have been able to see what I see, and THAT is where the passion lands for me. My goal as a Dallas, Texas native is to become the voice for the blind.
